Job Summary/Description: The Master Control Live Pivot Operator is responsible for the technical execution and quality control of live sporting events and local programming broadcasts.

This role ensures the seamless delivery of high-profile, live events—including football, baseball, basketball, and more. This position requires a high degree of scheduling flexibility to match the dynamic nature of live sports broadcasting. The operator will adjust their weekly schedule (including early mornings and late nights) to support peak live event days and will provide critical vacation and shift coverage across first, second, and third shifts.

Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: * Live Event & Master Control Operations - Monitor transmitter signals, audio/video levels, and program feeds to ensure compliance with FCC regulations and company quality standards. * Execute flawless switching, insertion of commercial spots, promos, and emergency alert systems (EAS). Maintain a detailed and accurate master control log of all on-air activities, discrepancies, and live timing adjustments. * Scheduling Flexibility & Shift Coverage: Adapt weekly schedules to accommodate heavy sports broadcast days (varying from early morning setups to late-night sign-offs). Act as primary vacation relief for staff members, stepping in to cover staff shortages across various shifts. Must be comfortable working non-traditional hours, primarily second shift, with occasional first or third shift coverage. * Content Ingesting & Media Management: Receive training in and execute the ingestion of digital content into the automation system. Manage promos, program segmentation, and live records. Verify the quality and metadata accuracy of all ingested video files and programming elements before broadcast. * Additional

Qualifications/Requirements: * At least 2- 3 years of experience in a high-volume Live Master Control setting/environment is required. * Knowledge of Morpheus and Crispin automation systems is a strong plus. * Scheduling: Ability and absolute willingness to work a highly flexible weekly schedule including various shifts (first, second, or third, holidays, weekends, early mornings, and late nights) is a must. * Adaptability & Drive: Quick Learner with the ability to acquire new technical skills (including promos, program, and live record segmentation).
