Please note this is a speculative role. If we move to hire, the position will be hybrid and require days in our London studio as well as potential travel. We cannot provide visas or UK relocation for this position, as it will be a contract role. About the role Framestore’s London-based Immersive team is looking for an Unreal Engine /Game Animator to join us on an exciting upcoming project. As a Game Animator, you'll collaborate with the Animation Lead and Art Director to create high-quality, story-driven animations that capture the project's unique style and pace. You'll work closely with the Tech Anim and Pipeline teams, providing valuable feedback to improve character setups, rigs, and tools. You’ll animate both primary and secondary elements, crafting the motions, gestures, and expressions of 3D characters and objects for high-end experiences. You'll need to work well under pressure, remain open to direction and creative changes, and maintain a sharp eye for detail. You’ll ensure tasks are completed on schedule, maintaining regular communication with Production and department Leads to meet project deadlines and align expectations.

What you’ll do Create high-quality, story-driven animations for 3D characters and objects. Collaborate with the Animation Lead and Art Director to ensure animations align with the project's style. Work closely with Tech Anim and Pipeline teams to refine character setups, rigs, and tools. Submit sequences for review and address notes and feedback efficiently. Continuously develop your skills, familiarising yourself with new tools, software, and technology.
