Compensation: $18.75-$19.47 per hour Newscast Director Bakersfield, CA, United States KBAK/KBFX is looking for a Director for our Newscast. An exciting opportunity awaits for motivated candidates wanting to join the KBAK/KBFX team! We are looking to add a Newscast Director to participate in the production of our newscasts. The ideal candidate would have broadcast production experience and the ability to direct newscasts. This position includes directing, code assisting, and studio preparation and maintenance. Primary
Responsibilities: Direct any assigned newscast using production automation systems. Provide code assistance for assigned newscasts using iNews. Maintain production studio and control room environments, including equipment checks, cable management, and orderly operations. Operate teleprompter for assigned newscasts. Perform any other production duties as assigned.
