Join our Product & Technology team as a Product Management Intern at our headquarters in Minneapolis MN from June to August 2027 . Gain hands-on experience shaping digital products that support local journalism. Working alongside experienced product managers, you'll contribute to all stages of the product lifecycle, from concept and strategy to development and optimization.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams across news, advertising, audience growth, and marketing while working on meaningful projects tailored to your unique skills, interests, and career goals.

Responsibilities Collaborate with product managers, software engineers, designers, data analysts, and business stakeholders on projects with company-wide impact. Support product development initiatives through user research, testing, experimentation, and data-driven insights. Assist in defining product strategy and identifying opportunities to enhance user experiences and business outcomes. Contribute to the planning, refinement, and execution of new product features and enhancements. Conduct competitive research and analyze industry trends to inform product decisions. Develop user communication strategies to support product launches and feature adoption. Help establish and track objectives and key results (OKRs) to measure product success. Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure product quality and readiness for launch. Partner with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, align priorities, and deliver impactful solutions. Take ownership of meaningful projects tailored to individual interests, skills, and career goals while building expertise in product management and digital media.

Qualifications Current college junior, senior, graduate student, or recent graduate. Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new concepts, tools, and technologies. Strong verbal and written communication skills, coupled with effective problem-solving abilities. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Excellent organizational, time management, and project coordination skills. Track record of collaborating effectively with diverse teams to achieve shared goals. Self-motivated, adaptable, and eager to take initiative on new challenges. Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work. Must be currently legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status, 0-1, TM, CPT, OPT, etc.).
